In 1978 in Hong Kong, a grisly homicide takes place. Eight years later, on a Macao seashore, children uncover the severed palms of a recent sufferer. A squadron of coarse, happy-go-lucky cops examine, and suspicion falls on Wong Chi Dangle, the brand new proprietor of Eight Immortals Restaurant, which serves scrumptious pork bao. The palms belong to the lacking mom of the restaurant’s former proprietor; he and his household have disappeared; workers on the restaurant proceed to go lacking; and, Wong cannot produce a signed invoice of sale: however there is no proof. The police arrest Wong and attempt to torture him right into a confession. Can they make him discuss? And what was in these pork bao?
