Mike Markovich, a young stockbroker at a Mob-controlled Wall Street firm, is betrayed and imprisoned for six years. When he is released, his deadly quest for vengeance begins.
The cinematography and story were captivating. Action scenes got my heart rate up. Acting was very good and I loved the background touches that drew me into the culture of these people (especially the night club).
Mike’s personal moral code was effectively conveyed which made his fall from Grace even more tragic. It also didn’t feel telegraphed. I haven’t read the book and I had no idea how the movie was going to end right up until the closing scene.
